Kendriya Vidyalaya Champhai was first located in Chanem which is a community local building at establishment in 2010. After the establishment of KV in Champhai in 2017 the school got allotment for the new building, and started working on the new building in 2011.
Wtih the help of alot of hardworker the building was finished in at the end of 2019. So from 2020 the school was relocated at Dinthar Champhai, which is 3km apart from the old location.
